Torpedo Zhodino Dominates Slavia Mozyr in Action-Packed Match
Zhodino, Belarus – Torpedo Zhodino secured a home victory against Slavia Mozyr in a vibrant, goal-filled match at the Stadion Torpedo. From the outset, Torpedo demonstrated their determination, opening the scoring in the 14th minute with a goal from I. Vasilevich, assisted by A. Butarevich. Despite an early yellow card for A. Selyava in the 16th minute, Torpedo continued to press.
A. Butarevich extended the lead in the 21st minute, this time with an assist from A. Selyava, redeeming himself from his earlier caution. The home goal-scoring spree continued with D. Borodin finding the net in the 25th minute, unassisted. Slavia Mozyr responded with a goal from A. Ivanov in the 31st minute, assisted by N. Ivanov, but the joy was short-lived.
The second half had fewer goals but no less intensity. Slavia Mozyr received two yellow cards for V. Poloz and P. Chikida in the 24th and 55th minutes respectively, while V. Melko of Torpedo also saw yellow in the 58th minute. A. Solovey reduced the deficit for Slavia in the 86th minute, assisted by S. Sazonchik, but it was not enough to change the final result. The match concluded with two yellow cards for Slavia Mozyr and two for Torpedo Zhodino.
