Toronto FC Edges Out DC United in Thrilling BMO Field Match
Toronto, Ontario – Toronto FC defeated DC United 2-0 in a hard-fought match at BMO Field on May 10th, 2025, as part of the Major League Soccer regular season, game 18. Despite slightly lower possession (49% to DC United’s 51%), Toronto FC proved more clinical in front of goal. Lorenzo Insigne opened the scoring in the 49th minute with a fine goal, assisted by Theo Corbeanu. An own goal by Lukas Bartlett in the 66th minute secured the victory for the home side.
