Toluca Shows Dominance Against Querétaro at the Nemesio Díez
Toluca, Mexico – In a match held at the Estadio Nemesio Díez, Toluca showcased their superiority by defeating Club Querétaro with a resounding score. From the beginning, the home team set the pace, reflected in a 63% possession rate throughout the game. Nicolás Castro opened the scoring in the 15th minute, followed by Paulinho in the 22nd minute with an assist from J. Angulo. At the 30th minute, A. Vega extended the lead with a penalty goal.
Despite a yellow card shown to A. Vega in the 34th minute, Toluca maintained control of the game. In the second half, J. Angulo sealed the victory in the 66th minute, assisted by Paulinho.
