Viktoria Plzeň secured a convincing 2-0 victory over Teplice at the AGC Aréna Na Stínadlech in Teplice, in a match corresponding to round 22 of the Czech Liga. Despite slightly higher possession for Plzeň (55% vs 45%), the match was defined by the visitors’ efficiency.
Plzeň opened the scoring in the 43rd minute with a goal from R. Durosinmi, assisted by P. Sulc. Just two minutes later, Durosinmi scored again, this time assisted by J. Panos, effectively sealing the match before halftime.
While Teplice attempted a comeback in the second half, Plzeň’s defense held firm. The match was characterized by tension, reflected in Teplice’s 17 fouls and Plzeň’s 12, along with a yellow card for each team. Plzeň generated more scoring chances, with 17 shots (5 on target) compared to Teplice’s 7 (3 on target).
