Técnico Universitario Secures Victory in Yellow Card-Laden Match
Ambato, Ecuador – In a hard-fought match held at the Estadio Bellavista de Ambato, Técnico Universitario defeated Macará in an Ecuadorian Liga Pro game marked by its intensity and numerous yellow cards. The sole goal of the match came in the 33rd minute, scored by R. Cristobal, assisted by T. Minda, giving the home team the decisive advantage.
The match, valid for the 21st round of the regular season, was officiated by Oswaldo Contreras and was characterized by a stop-start, tactical game. Técnico Universitario, despite having only 34% of the ball possession, managed to be more effective in attack, with 11 total shots, 5 of which were on target.
