Sydney FC defeated Bangkok United 2-1 in a thrilling AFC Cup 2024 Round of 16 match played at Allianz Stadium, Sydney, on February 12th, 2025. The match, officiated by Yamashita Yoshimi of Japan, was characterized by intensity and attacking prowess from both sides.
Bangkok United took the lead in the 50th minute with a penalty goal scored by R. Zivkovic. However, Sydney FC responded strongly. In the 60th minute, A.
