Qingdao Youth Island claims victory in a thrilling match against Nantong Zhiyun
Qingdao Youth Island defeated Nantong Zhiyun 3-0 in a thrilling match at the Rugao Olympic Sports Center Stadium. The match, corresponding to round 23 of the Chinese Super League, was marked by the expulsion of a Nantong Zhiyun player and a series of changes in both teams.
Qingdao Youth Island opened the scoring in the 16th minute with a goal from Alan, assisted by He Longhai. The first half was marked by the expulsion of Yang Ming-Yang from Nantong Zhiyun in the 35th minute.
In the second half, Qingdao Youth Island was more effective in attack, scoring two more goals. The first came in the 69th minute through B. Riascos, assisted by Duan Liuyu. The second goal, in the 75th minute, was scored by Feng Gang, also assisted by Duan Liuyu.
Nantong Zhiyun, despite having a lower percentage of possession (47% vs 53%) and fewer shots on goal (2 vs 6), tried to react in the final stretch of the match, but failed to prevent defeat.
