Pogon Szczecin defeats Stal Mielec in thrilling encounter
Mielec, Poland – Pogon Szczecin emerged victorious against Stal Mielec in a thrilling match played at the Stadion Stali Mielec. The game, corresponding to round 21 of the Ekstraklasa, ended with a 2-1 scoreline in favor of the visiting team.
The encounter was characterized by intensity and a fight for ball control. Although Stal Mielec dominated possession (55%), Pogon Szczecin showed greater effectiveness in front of goal. The first goal came in the 54th minute thanks to a goal by E. Koulouris. A. Przyborek extended the lead in the 66th minute. Despite M. Matras’s goal in the 89th minute for Stal Mielec, Pogon Szczecin managed to hold on to their advantage until the final whistle.
