Goal Fest in Brest: Stade Brestois 29 Dominates Nice
Brest, France – In a vibrant and action-packed match played at the Stade Francis-Le Blé, Stade Brestois 29 emphatically defeated Nice with a final score of 4 to 1. The match, corresponding to the fifth round of Ligue 1, clearly demonstrated the offensive power of the home team.
From the initial whistle, Brestois came out with an extra gear. At six minutes, Ludovic Ajorque opened the scoring, assisted by Romain Del Castillo. Just three minutes later, Del Castillo extended the lead, this time with Ajorque as the provider, leaving the visiting team stunned.
Nice attempted to react, and at the half-hour mark, Terem Moffi reduced the deficit with a goal after an assist from Hicham Boudaoui. However, Brestois remained undeterred and continued to press.

The match was intense, with several yellow cards shown, three for Nice and one for Brestois. Despite Nice dominating possession with 62% compared to Brestois’ 38%, the home team was much more effective in front of goal, taking advantage of their opportunities immensely. Nice’s 19 shots, of which only four were on target, were not enough to counter the effectiveness of Brestois, who made 11 shots, with five of them directed at the rival goal.
