Lens secured a convincing 3-1 victory over Stade Brestois 29 in a thrilling match at the Stade Francis-Le Blé in Brest. The game, part of Ligue 1’s matchday 30, was marked by a Brest player’s red card and Lens’s clinical finishing.
Stade Brestois took the lead in the 13th minute through Lees-Melou, assisted by Pereira Lage. However, Lens quickly responded and equalized in the 17th minute with a goal from Koyalipou, assisted by Zaroury. Before halftime, Lens took the lead with a penalty converted by El Aynaoui (45th minute), following a straight red card for Ndiaye of Brest. In the closing stages, Said sealed the victory with a goal in the 90th minute, assisted by Thomasson, resulting in a 3-1 win for Lens.
