Rangers Salvage Draw in Paisley After Tense Match
Paisley, Scotland – In a vibrant match filled with cards, Rangers managed to salvage a 1-1 draw against St. Mirren at The SMISA Stadium, in a match corresponding to the third matchday of the Scottish Premiership. St. Mirren took the lead in the 32nd minute thanks to a goal by J. Ayunga, assisted by M. Mandron, after a first half where they were able to take advantage of their opportunities. Rangers, with a dominant ball possession of 71%, fought to find the equalizer, but encountered a strong local defense. The frustration was reflected in the yellow cards shown to N. Raskin and M. Aarons for the visiting team. In the second half, F. Curtis equalized for Rangers in the 78th minute, assisted by N. Raskin, unleashing joy on the visiting bench and relieving the pressure on the team.
