Universitario Secures Victory in Thrilling Match Against Sporting Cristal
Lima – In a vibrant match held at the Estadio Alberto Gallardo, Universitario managed to overcome Sporting Cristal with a final score that reflected the intensity of the game. From the start, the match was full of emotions. Universitario opened the scoring early, in the 9th minute, with a goal by J. Carabali after an excellent assist from L. Alzugaray. They extended their lead in the 30th minute with a penalty converted by A. Valera.
Sporting Cristal displayed greater ball possession, reaching 65%, and generated a total of 27 shots, although only 8 found the net.
