Thrilling Match in Trnava: Spartak Trnava Overcomes Universitatea Craiova in a Goal-Laden Duel
Trnava was the stage for an electrifying encounter between Spartak Trnava and Universitatea Craiova, in the UEFA Europa Conference League. The match, played at the CITY ARENA – Štadión Antona Malatinského, was marked by intensity and a flurry of goals that kept fans on the edge of their seats.

Universitatea Craiova did not give up, and in added time, T. Baluta, assisted by A. Mekvabishvili, reduced the difference in the 101st minute. Hope resurfaced for the Romanians when S. Nsimba scored another goal in the 117th minute, but the comeback did not materialize.
Spartak Trnava dominated possession with 62% compared to Universitatea Craiova’s 38%. The Slovaks were also more incisive in attack, with 26 total shots (9 on target) compared to the Romanian team’s 16 shots (6 on target). The match was characterized by intensity, with 23 fouls committed by each team. Referee Stuart Attwell showed two yellow cards to Spartak Trnava and three to Universitatea Craiova.
