Dunajska Streda Edges Out Spartak Trnava in Thrilling Encounter
Trnava, March 8, 2025. – Dunajska Streda secured a 1-2 victory over Spartak Trnava in a captivating match at the CITY ARENA – Štadión Antona Malatinského, marking the opening game of the Championship Round in the Slovak Super Liga. The match was characterized by high intensity, numerous yellow cards, and scoring opportunities for both sides.
Although Spartak Trnava registered more shots (17 to 15), Dunajska Streda proved more clinical in front of goal. Ramadan put the visitors ahead in the 34th minute, assisted by Kapanadze. Prochazka equalized for the home team in the 47th minute, assisted by Zeljkovic. However, Dunajska Streda ultimately secured the victory with superior effectiveness.
