Spartak and CSKA Draw in Thrilling Moscow Derby
Moscow, April 26, 2025.- Spartak Moscow and CSKA Moscow played out a thrilling 2-2 draw at the Lukoil Arena in a highly charged Premier League match. The game, part of the Russian Premier League’s 26th round, was marked by a high number of yellow cards – 16 in total – and one red card for Spartak.
CSKA took the lead in the 44th minute through a Guarirapa goal. However, Spartak fought back in the second half, equalizing with a penalty from Barco in the 87th minute. The drama continued until the final whistle, with Bistrovic scoring for CSKA in the 89th minute.
