Trnava, June 21, 2025 – In a thrilling encounter held at the CITY ARENA – Štadión Antona Malatinského, England U21 secured their place in the semifinals of the UEFA U21 Championship after defeating Spain U21. The match, officiated by Simone Sozza (Italy), was full of intensity and key moments.
England started strongly, dominating the early stages of the game. J. McAtee opened the scoring in the 10th minute with a goal, followed by H. Elliott in the 15th minute, extending England’s lead. However, Spain reacted, and J. Guerra narrowed the gap in the 39th minute through a penalty, bringing the score to 2-1 before halftime.
