Slovan Bratislava defeated Podbrezová 4-1 in a match played at the Štadión Tehelné pole in Bratislava, corresponding to the third round of the Slovak Super Liga Championship Round. The game, refereed by Peter Kralovic, saw Slovan dominate possession with 55%.
The home side took the lead in the 59th minute through a goal from R. Mak, assisted by R. Ibrahim. Podbrezová pulled one back in the 82nd minute with a goal from S. Stefanik, but Slovan responded with an own goal by A. Markovic in the 86th minute and a second goal from R. Mak in the 90th minute, securing a comfortable victory.
Two yellow cards were shown during the match: one to Slovan’s S. Zuberu in the 26th minute and another to Podbrezová’s S. Fasko in the 46th minute. Slovan had 15 shots on goal (6 on target), while Podbrezová managed 11 (4 on target).
