Slovácko and Mlada Boleslav played a thrilling match at the Městský fotbalový stadion Miroslava Valenty in Uherské Hradiště, corresponding to matchday 16 of the 2024 Czech Liga. The game, refereed by Vit Zaoral, ended with a 1-0 victory for Slovácko. Mlada Boleslav started stronger, enjoying 53% possession and taking 11 shots, though only one was on target. However, it was the home side that took the lead in the 45th minute thanks to a goal by Martin Krmencik, assisted by Michal Kohut. Earlier, Krmencik had a goal disallowed for offside in the 8th minute. Despite the advantage, Slovácko had less possession (47%) and made 12 shots, 4 of them on target. Corner kicks were 7 to 3 in favour of Mlada Boleslav, while fouls were more numerous for the visiting team (13 to 7). Slovácko received one yellow card, while Mlada Boleslav finished the game without any cautions. A hard-fought match reflecting a balanced game, but with a deserved victory for the home team.
