Shonan Bellmare Crushes Albirex Niigata in Hiratsuka
Hiratsuka, Japan – In a match held at the Lemon Gas Stadium, Shonan Bellmare dominated Albirex Niigata with a final score of five to two. Despite having less ball possession (34% compared to Niigata’s 66%), Bellmare was much more effective in attack, registering 17 total shots, 8 of which were on target.
Bellmare’s goal festival began in the 35th minute with a goal from A. Suzuki, quickly followed by T. Hiraoka in the 38th minute. K. Onose extended the lead in the 52nd minute, although he had previously received a yellow card in the 48th minute. A. Suzuki scored again in the 70th minute, assisted by S. Nakano, and K. Okuno closed the scoring for Bellmare in the 73rd minute.
Albirex Niigata, despite having greater possession, only managed to trouble the opponent’s goal on a few occasions. M.
