Thrilling Match in Shanghai: Shanghai Shenhua Secures Victory
Shanghai, China – In a vibrant match held at the Shanghai Stadium, Shanghai Shenhua defeated Henan Jianye in a match corresponding to matchday 18 of the Chinese Super League.
Shenhua took the lead early with a goal from Jiang Shenglong in the 17th minute, assisted by Gao Tianyi. However, Henan Jianye responded just before halftime, with Bruno Nazario leveling the score in the 45th minute. Henan’s joy was short-lived, as J. Teixeira restored Shenhua’s lead in the same minute, assisted by Andre Luis.
In the second half, L. Asue extended the lead for Shanghai Shenhua in the 57th minute, thanks to a pass from Wu Xi. Henan Jianye fought to get back into the game and narrowed the gap in the 76th minute with a goal from F. Acheampong, assisted by Iago Maidana. Despite final efforts, Henan was unable to equalize.
The match was intense, with a total of four yellow cards shown: two for each team. Shanghai Shenhua maintained 47% possession, took 19 shots (9 on target), and committed 15 fouls. Henan Jianye, with 53% possession, took 9 shots (4 on target) and committed 10 fouls. The referee of the match, Liang Songshang, added intensity to the match with his decisions.
