Last-Minute Goal Secures Draw for Legia Against Shakhtar in Kraków
Kraków, Poland – Legia Warszawa and Shakhtar Donetsk played to a 2-2 draw in a UEFA Europa Conference League match held at the Stadion Miejski im. Henryka Reymana. Legia, playing as the home team in Kraków, faced a Shakhtar side that dominated possession (70%) but managed to capitalize on their chances.
R. Augustyniak opened the scoring for Legia in the 16th minute, igniting the hopes of the home crowd. However, Shakhtar, who controlled much of the game, responded in the second half. Luca Meirelles equalized in the 61st minute, assisted by Y. Konoplya.
