Servette FC Triumphs Over Lugano in Thrilling Encounter
Servette FC defeated FC Lugano 4-2 in a thrilling match played at the Stade de Genève in Lancy on May 15th, 2025. The game, part of the 3rd round of the Swiss Super League Championship Round 2024, was marked by own goals, yellow cards, and a Servette comeback.
The match started surprisingly with two own goals. First, at the 9th minute, A. Hajdari scored an own goal to give Servette the lead. Twelve minutes later, K. Tsunemoto mirrored the action for Lugano, making it 1-1. K. Varela put Servette ahead just before halftime (38′).
