SCR Altach Dominates Wolfsberger AC at Home
Altach, Austria – SCR Altach prevailed at home against Wolfsberger AC in a match held at the Cashpoint-Arena. Despite a larger ball possession mostly favorable to Wolfsberger AC (62% against 38%), Altach demonstrated greater effectiveness in front of goal. The match had moments of tension, reflected in the four yellow cards shown during the match, one for Altach and three for Wolfsberger AC.
Altach opened the scoring in the 30th minute with a goal by P. Greil. Despite a previous goal by O. Diawara being disallowed by VAR in the 10th minute, Altach maintained the pressure. In the second half, Greil scored again in the 70th minute, extending the lead. A. Fetahu consolidated the victory with a penalty goal in the 84th minute. Wolfsberger AC managed to score in the 90th minute with a goal by M. Sulzner, assisted by A. Schopf, but it wasn’t enough to reverse the result. Altach had 13 shots, 5 of which were on target, while Wolfsberger AC had 10 shots, with only 3 on target. The match was refereed by Sebastian Gishamer.
