Scotland Secures Hard-Fought Victory in Glasgow
Glasgow, Hampden Park – Scotland secured a hard-fought victory against Belarus in a World Cup qualifying match. The match, refereed by Romanian Marian Barbu, was characterized by an intense pace and several controversial decisions.
Scotland took an early lead in the 15th minute thanks to a goal by C. Adams, assisted by J. Hendry. The Scottish dominance in possession (55%) did not translate into a significant advantage in the game, as Belarus proved to be combative and generated danger on the counter.
