Saudi Arabia Claims Victory Over North Macedonia in Friendly Match
Prague, Czech Republic – In a friendly match played at Stadion Seifertova ulice, Saudi Arabia defeated North Macedonia in a game where ball possession was key. The Saudi team dominated the game with 65% possession, allowing them to create more scoring opportunities.
North Macedonia opened the scoring in the 40th minute with a goal by A. Trajkovski, assisted by S. Despotovski. However, the Macedonian joy was short-lived as F. Al Buraikan equalized for Saudi Arabia just before halftime, in the 45th minute, with an assist from M. Abu Al Shamat.
In the second half, Saudi Arabia continued to press and finally found the winning goal in the 78th minute, thanks to A. Al Hamdan. Despite North Macedonia’s efforts, they were unable to overcome the Saudi defense and the game ended with a Saudi Arabian victory.
The match was quite contested, with a total of 25 fouls committed between both teams. The referee, Dominik Stary, showed a total of four yellow cards, three for Saudi Arabia and one for North Macedonia.
The match ended with a final score of 1-2.
