São Paulo, Brazil – In a match corresponding to the 19th round of the Brazilian Serie A, São Paulo defeated Vitoria with a score of 2-0 at the MorumBIS stadium. The match, officiated by Bruno Arleu de Araujo, saw a clear superiority of the home team in terms of possession (57%), although without translating into an overwhelming number of shots on goal.

In the second half, Vitoria tried to react, but without managing to generate real danger on the rival goal. The intensity of the game remained high, with more yellow cards shown. Finally, in the final minutes, Sabino sealed the match with a goal in the 86th minute, after an assist from N. Ferraresi.
While São Paulo dominated possession and generated more opportunities, the match was more closely contested than the final score suggests. Vitoria, although less precise in attack, showed a tenacious and committed game.
