Sao Paulo defeated Ponte Preta 2-3 in a thrilling match played at the Morumbi stadium in São Paulo. The game, corresponding to matchday 11 of the 2025 Paulista A1 Championship regular season, was characterized by its intensity and the number of yellow cards.
Jonathan Calleri opened the scoring for Sao Paulo in the 45th minute, assisted by Oscar. Ponte Preta quickly responded, equalizing in the 49th minute with a goal from Artur. Everton Brito turned the score around for Ponte Preta in the 60th minute, assisted by Artur. However, Sao Paulo managed to come back and ultimately secured the victory.
