São Paulo Dominates Fluminense in Thrilling Match
In a match played at the MorumBIS in São Paulo, the home team prevailed over Fluminense with a convincing victory. The match, corresponding to matchday 17 of the Brazilian Serie A, was marked by intensity and goals.
Robert Arboleda opened the scoring for São Paulo in the 24th minute, after a great assist from Luciano. The first half also saw two yellow cards for Fluminense and a missed penalty by Ferreira, although he would later redeem himself.
In the second half, Ferreira extended São Paulo’s lead in the 59th minute, with an assist from Marcos Antonio. Tapia sealed the victory for São Paulo in the 90th minute, after a pass from N. Ferraresi.

São Paulo dominated possession with 47% and generated a greater number of goal opportunities, with 15 shots, nine of them on target, compared to Fluminense’s seven shots, of which only one was on target.
