Sao Paulo Secure Home Victory Against Toothless Atletico-MG
São Paulo, São Paulo – In a match played at the MorumBIS, Sao Paulo secured a victory against Atletico Mineiro in a Serie A clash marked by intensity and the visiting team’s lack of precision. Pablo Maia opened the scoring in the 23rd minute, assisted by D. Bobadilla, giving the home side the lead.
Atletico Mineiro, despite having similar ball possession (49% against Sao Paulo’s 51%), struggled to find the opponent’s goal, finishing the match without a single shot on target.
