Tense Match in Santos Ends in a Draw
Santos, Brazil – In a match filled with emotions and cards, Santos and Gremio drew in a hard-fought encounter at the Estádio Urbano Caldeira. The match, corresponding to matchday 26 of the Brazilian Serie A, was characterized by Santos’ dominance in ball possession (64%), although effectiveness in front of goal was a constant problem.
The first half went by without goals, but with several interruptions due to numerous fouls and cautions. Gremio had a goal disallowed by VAR in the 19th minute due to a previous foul.
