Santa Fe Edges Out Deportes Iquique in Thrilling Libertadores Clash
Bogotá, D.C. – Independiente Santa Fe secured a 2-1 victory over Deportes Iquique in a thrilling CONMEBOL Libertadores 2025 second-round match at the Estadio Metropolitano de Techo. The game, officiated by Paraguay’s Derlis López, saw Santa Fe dominate possession with 74% of the ball.
Deportes Iquique took the lead early, with S. Pino scoring in the 6th minute. However, Santa Fe quickly equalized through E. Murillo in the 14th minute.
