Chesterfield Rout Salford City in Dominant Display at The Peninsula Stadium
Chesterfield secured a resounding 4-0 victory over Salford City in a League Two clash at The Peninsula Stadium on Monday, March 11th, 2025. The match, officiated by D. Drysdale, saw Chesterfield dominate possession and clinical finishing.
Chesterfield controlled the game from start to finish, boasting 64% possession and registering 26 shots (11 on target). Liam Mandeville opened the scoring in the 40th minute, assisted by Joe Sparkes, before Akintunde Pepple doubled the lead three minutes later.
