Spartak Moscow Overpowers Rubin in Kazan’
Kazan’, Russia – Spartak Moscow convincingly defeated Rubin on their visit to the Ak Bars Arena, in a match corresponding to the sixth round of the Russian Premier League. The match, played under the watchful eye of referee Rafael Shafeev, reflected a clear superiority of Spartak, who enjoyed 75% of the ball possession compared to Rubin’s 25%.
The first half ended without goals, although Rubin had already received a yellow card for B. Jocic in the 35th minute. Spartak opened the scoring in the 57th minute thanks to a goal by P.
