Racing Club defeats Rosario Central in a tense, card-filled match
Rosario, Argentina – Racing Club defeated Rosario Central 2-0 in a match played at the Estadio Gigante de Arroyito, corresponding to matchday 25 of the second phase of the 2024 Argentine Professional League. The match, played on November 30th at 10:30 PM, was marked by tension, with a total of 12 yellow cards and one red card for the home team.
Despite Rosario Central’s dominance in possession (59%), Racing Club was more effective in finishing. Lautaro Vietto opened the scoring in the 48th minute, assisted by Adrián Martínez. An offside goal disallowed for Rosario Central in the first half added to the drama, but did not prevent the away victory.
