Roda JC defeated Helmond Sport 3-2 in a thrilling match played at the Parkstad Limburg Stadion in Kerkrade on March 11, 2025, corresponding to matchday 31 of the Eerste Divisie. The match, refereed by L. Timmer, was marked by an even game, although the victory ultimately went to the home team.
Helmond Sport took the lead with a penalty goal by A. van den Hurk in the 11th minute. However, Roda JC quickly equalized thanks to a goal by B. Koglin in the 17th minute. A. van den Hurk scored again for Helmond Sport in the 39th minute, leaving the score 2-1 at halftime.
In the second half, Roda JC came back with goals from K. Razak in the 73rd minute and M. Breij in the 87th minute, sealing the 3-2 victory. The match was intense, with numerous fouls and yellow cards (3 for Roda JC and 2 for Helmond Sport).
