Remo defeats América Mineiro in a thrilling match in Belém
Remo triumphed over América Mineiro with a 2-0 victory in an exciting match played at the Estádio Estadual Jornalista Edgar Augusto Proença in Belém, Pará, this Saturday, April 13th, 2025. The game was part of the second round of the 2025 Brazilian Serie B. Despite having less possession (26%), Remo showed greater attacking efficiency. Pedro Rocha was the star of the match, scoring two goals, one at 13′ and another at 48′, assisted by Marcelinho and Janderson respectively. América Mineiro, with 74% possession, had more shots on goal (11 vs 9), but couldn’t overcome Remo’s solid defense.
