Real Sociedad Women defeats Levante UD Women in a hard-fought match at Zubieta
Donostia-San Sebastián, March 16, 2025.- Real Sociedad Women defeated Levante UD Women 1-2 in a thrilling match at the Instalaciones de Zubieta Z7, corresponding to matchday 22 of the Primera División Femenina. Despite having less possession (61% for Real Sociedad), the match was marked by the effectiveness of the Donostiarra team.
A. Sarriegi put the home side ahead in the 37th minute, opening the scoring. However, Levante reacted and managed to equalize in the 55th minute with a goal from D. Arques. Finally, I. Chacón sealed the victory for Levante in the 75th minute, leaving the final score at 1-2.
