Real Sociedad Crushes Dynamo Kyiv in Dominant Display
Donostia-San Sebastián, December 12, 2024.- Real Sociedad secured a resounding 4-0 victory over Dynamo Kyiv in their UEFA Europa League Group Stage matchday six clash at the Reale Arena. The home side completely dominated the game, controlling possession (60%) and creating a plethora of scoring opportunities.
Mikel Oyarzabal was the standout performer, scoring two goals. His first came after initially missing a penalty, only to score on the rebound. He then added a second goal with a superb individual effort and also provided one assist. Saša Becker also added his name to the score sheet. Another key player, Ander Guevara contributed with a goal and an assist.
Dynamo Kyiv offered little in response, managing only a handful of shots and struggling to create any clear-cut chances. Real Sociedad’s dominance was evident throughout, showcasing their superior skills and tactical prowess.
Both teams received two yellow cards each, with no further disciplinary issues. The emphatic win leaves Real Sociedad in a strong position heading into the next stage of the competition.
