Thrilling Basque Derby Ends in High-Scoring Draw in San Sebastián
San Sebastián witnessed a vibrant Basque derby between Real Sociedad and Athletic Club that ended in a 3-3 draw. The match, played at the Reale Arena, was marked by constant lead changes and a high tempo.
Real Sociedad took the lead in the 38th minute with a goal from Brais Méndez. However, Athletic Club reacted quickly and Gorka Guruzeta equalized in the 42nd minute. Shortly after the restart after the break, Gonçalo Guedes put the home side ahead again in the 47th minute.
