Athletic Club Women Rout Real Betis Women in Seville
Athletic Club Women achieved a resounding 4-0 victory over Real Betis Women at the Ciudad Deportiva Luis de Sol in Seville, in a match corresponding to round 18 of the Primera División Femenina. Athletic’s dominance was evident from the start, reflected in their 62% possession compared to Betis’ 38%.
The goals came early for the visitors. Azkona opened the scoring in the 17th minute, followed by Pinedo in the 34th and Torre Larranaga in the 42nd, virtually sealing the victory before halftime. An own goal by Roberts in the 62nd minute completed the rout.
