Espanyol Thrashes Rayo Vallecano in Vallecas Thriller
Madrid, April 4, 2025 – RCD Espanyol secured a convincing 4-0 victory over Rayo Vallecano at the Estadio de Vallecas in a La Liga matchday 30 clash. The visitors took control early with goals from Leandro Cabrera (12′) and Raúl de Tomás (16′), both assisted by their teammates. Rayo attempted a comeback but struggled against the Espanyol defense and the yellow cards to Pathé Ciss and Álvaro García (28′ and 70′). Espanyol extended their lead in the second half with a penalty converted by Javi Puado (72′) and a late goal by Pablo Milla (90′), assisted by Álex Aguado.
