Rangers Thrash Dundee United at Ibrox
Rangers secured a commanding 4-1 victory over Dundee United at Ibrox Stadium in Glasgow on May 14th, 2025. The match, part of the 2nd Phase – Round 4 of the Scottish Premiership, saw Rangers dominate possession (77%) and create numerous scoring opportunities (19 shots, 7 on target).
Cyriel Dessers opened the scoring for Rangers in the 25th minute, assisted by Jefte. Dundee United, however, responded swiftly with a goal from Scott Cleall-Harding in the 20th minute, assisted by Rory Strain. The second half belonged to Rangers, with Dessers netting a penalty in the 73rd minute and Nicolas Raskin adding a fourth in the 75th minute, assisted by Václav Černý. Dundee United managed only 4 shots on target and received a yellow card for Vladimir Sevelj in the 61st minute. Referee C. Scott oversaw the match. While Dundee United showed determination, Rangers’ superiority was evident throughout the game.
