Hard-Fought Draw in Radom: Radomiak and Wisla Plock Split Points
Radom, Poland – In a closely contested match at the Stadion im. Braci Czachorów, Radomiak Radom and Wisla Plock drew 1-1 in a game corresponding to matchday 13 of the Ekstraklasa. Radomiak dominated possession with 54%, but failed to translate that advantage into a larger scoreline.
Radomiak took the lead in the 28th minute thanks to a goal by Maurides, assisted by R. Wolski. However, Wisla Plock responded in the 34th minute with a penalty converted by L. Sekulski, leveling the score.
Despite Radomiak’s greater possession and 17 shots, only two were on target, showing a lack of precision in attack. Wisla Plock, with less possession and shots, managed to be more effective by converting the penalty that earned them the draw. Referee Karol Arys showed yellow cards to I. Camara of Radomiak and Z. Rogelj of Wisla Plock in a match with a total of 27 fouls committed by both teams. The match ended in a draw, leaving both teams needing to sharpen their aim for the upcoming matches.
