QPR Thrashes Derby County in Dominant Loftus Road Display
Queens Park Rangers (QPR) secured a convincing 4-0 victory over Derby County at the MATRADE Loftus Road stadium in London on February 14th, 2025. The Championship match, officiated by David Webb, saw QPR dominate the offensive proceedings throughout.
Ilias Chair opened the scoring in the 21st minute, followed by a goal from K. Saito in the 35th minute. In the second half, Chair added his second goal of the game in the 57th minute, assisted by Yang Min-Hyuk, before R. Edwards secured the victory with a fourth goal in the 66th minute, assisted by K. Paal.
Despite Derby County enjoying 51% possession, their 7 shots (1 on target) proved no match for QPR’s clinical finishing, with QPR managing 12 shots, 5 of which were on target. Derby committed 13 fouls and received one yellow card, while QPR committed 9 fouls and received no cautions.
