Pyramids FC Overpowers Renaissance Berkane in Cairo
Pyramids FC secured a resounding victory in Cairo over Renaissance Berkane in a match held at the 30 June Stadium for the CAF Champions League. The encounter, part of the fourth matchday of the regular season, showcased the dominance of the home side, despite a slightly favorable possession for the visitors (51% versus 49%).
The scoreline was opened early, in the 11th minute, with a goal by Zalaka, assisted by N. Maher, which ignited the home crowd. Despite the cards, Pyramids FC continued to press and in the 74th minute, N. Maher, this time assisted by Zalaka, extended the lead. The final blow came in the 81st minute, with a goal by A. Atef, assisted by W. El Karti, sealing the fate of Renaissance Berkane.
