Melgar Edges Past Puerto Cabello with a Narrow Victory in Valencia
FBC Melgar secured a 1-0 victory against Puerto Cabello in a match played at the Estadio Polideportivo Misael Delgado in Valencia, Venezuela. The game, part of the group stage, matchday 5, of the 2025 CONMEBOL Sudamericana, saw K. G. Cabrera Nakamura score the winning penalty in the 51st minute.
Despite Puerto Cabello dominating possession (58%), Melgar’s clinical finishing proved decisive.
