PSV Eindhoven crushes PEC Zwolle in a one-sided affair
Eindhoven, Netherlands – PSV Eindhoven showcased their dominance over PEC Zwolle in a match that ended with a resounding 7-0 victory. The home side controlled the game from the start and scored five goals in the first half, leaving PEC Zwolle with no chance.
The first goal came in the 9th minute with a shot from Ricardo Pepi, assisted by I. Saibari. In the 40th minute, Noa Lang extended the lead with another quality goal, again with an assist from I. Saibari. Before half-time, Y. Namli saw red, leaving PEC Zwolle with a man down.
In the second half, PSV Eindhoven kept up the pressure and scored three more goals. Malik Tillman scored in the 51st minute with an assist from I. Perisic, followed by a second goal from Pepi in the 58th minute, this time assisted by Lang. Lang himself was the architect of the sixth goal, an own goal by J. Schendelaar in the 71st minute.
Although PEC Zwolle tried to react, they had no chance against PSV Eindhoven’s absolute dominance. Johan Bakayoko scored the seventh and final goal in the 89th minute.
