Arsenal Rout PSV Eindhoven in Champions League Thriller
Arsenal secured a commanding 8-1 victory over PSV Eindhoven in the first leg of their Champions League Round of 16 clash at the Philips Stadion. Despite PSV enjoying 53% possession, Arsenal’s clinical finishing proved decisive.
Goals from J. Timber (18′), E. Nwaneri (21′), M. Merino (31′), M. Odegaard (47′ and 73′), L. Trossard (48′), and R. Calafiori (85′), alongside a brace from Odegaard, sealed a comprehensive win for Arsenal. PSV’s only goal came from a N. Lang penalty (43′).
