Carlos A. Mannucci defeats ADT in a thrilling match
Trujillo, Peru – Carlos A. Mannucci secured a hard-fought victory over ADT in the fourth round of the Peruvian Primera División Clausura Tournament. The match, played at the Estadio Mansiche, was marked by the expulsion of an ADT player, Mannucci’s comeback, and an exciting finish.
The match started with an own goal by Luis Pérez in the 10th minute, giving Carlos A. Mannucci the lead. However, ADT managed to equalize in the 42nd minute with a goal by Yamir Gamero. In the closing stages of the first half, André Benítez scored for the “tricolores,” putting the score at 2-1.
In the second half, ADT was reduced to ten men after the 36th minute with the expulsion of Yordy Vilchez, and Mannucci took advantage of their numerical superiority to extend the lead. Gino Rizzo converted the 3-1 in the 68th minute, sealing the victory. Despite the defeat, ADT managed to score a consolation goal in the 90th minute through Alejandro Rambal, but it was too late.
Mannucci, with 49% possession of the ball, was more effective in attack, making 12 shots (4 on target), while ADT, with 51% possession, only managed 7 shots (3 on target).
The referee of the match was Jordi Espinoza, from Peru.
