Coquimbo Unido and Unión Española draw in a thrilling match
Coquimbo Unido and Unión Española played a vibrant match at the Estadio Bicentenario Francisco Sánchez Rumoroso, which ended in a 3-3 draw.
The first half was a festival of emotions. Coquimbo Unido opened the scoring in the 19th minute with a goal from Juan José Bauman, assisted by Alejandro Camargo. However, Unión Española responded quickly and leveled the score in the 27th minute through Leandro Benegas. Before halftime, Coquimbo Unido regained the lead thanks to a goal from Diego Glaby in the 45th minute.
In the second half, Unión Española showed its ability to react and managed to equalize the match in the 78th minute with a penalty scored by Augusto Uribe. Coquimbo Unido had the chance to take the victory in the 90th minute with a penalty from Juan José Bauman, but the striker missed it.
The match was marked by the intensity and struggle of both teams. Coquimbo Unido had more shots on goal (18 shots), while Unión Española dominated possession of the ball (59%). Both teams received yellow cards, two for Coquimbo Unido and five for Unión Española.
The draw leaves both teams in the middle of the Chilean Primera División standings.
